NE Region Update

Posted on June 23, 2021 Written by Brent Stafford

Lake Tawakoni West Ramp at the 2 Mile Bridge. Please be in the water by 5:30AM Take off Safe Light, Weigh In at 2:30PM.

This is the Last Scheduled Tournament of the 2021 season! The top 20 with one Drop will determine the Championship lake by most votes we would like to have it some time in August, that also can be determined by discussion.

So please let’s discuss either in the morning or at weigh-in at the lake.

I will have a spread sheet with Standings to help determine Top 20. Top ten Boaters and next will be top ten non-boaters. I will go down the list till we fill it up….

Randy Kvipal won 1st Place in Back to Back tournaments on  Lake O’ the Pines and Lake Lewisville. Lewisville weight 15.08 Lbs and a tough LOP 16.90 Lbs.

Both lakes Randy The Fluke Master sacked them up throwing what else but Watermelon/Red Fluke on a modified Carolina Rig…

Second Place was Colton Harvick with 16.55 Lbs .35 from the win throwing a frog over the grass. Try and cull better next time Colton!

Third in his New Skeeter Boat was Chad Paulson with 13.28 Lbs. Chad was flipping bushes with some kind of Creature Bait Naked bugger?

Fourth was Jose Ramos in his New Ranger with 11.46 Lbs. also flipping bushes.

Fifth was George Bryan in his 1995 Old Ranger with 9.49 Lbs. I caughtb them off the Bridge in Ally Creek on a shaky head with Calf 420 trick worm
Big Bass was Stuck by Colton Harvick 5.67 Lbs!

Lake Lewisville 5/23/2021

As mentioned Above the Randy Kvapil Fluke Master Won and right now is in the lead for Angler of the Year!

Second was WaffelHouse Pro David Porter with 12.89 Lbs caught them down at the Dam Drop shotting robo worm Morning Dawn
Using his electronics to see and catch his fish. David wanted to thank Princess for letting out of the house to Fish 😳.

Third was one of East Texas better Anglers Brannon Long with 12.70 Lbs I thought he said he was fishing bushes.

Fourth was the Chatterbait machine Jeff Lugar his weight 12.47 Lbs.

Fifth was  Oldman George Bryan with 12.35 Lbs I was Flipping Bushes in Back of 121 Marina throwing same as Chad at LOP Naked bugger creature bait dining the tails in Chartreuse.

Sixth was retired Keith Glasby with 11.50 Lbs and a pretty 7.81 Big Girl for Big Bass. David Porter said, “He Put Keith on the Spot”???

Form 2nd to 6th 1.49 Lbs separated the anglers very close!

Good Luck See you at Tawakoni
