Bassmasters’ Creed: I promise to create among my fellow anglers, and the public in general, an awareness of my Chapter’s and Society’s contributions to angling, conservation and outdoor recreation. I will encourage and instruct the youth of my community in the art of bass fishing. I pledge myself to full adherence to all conservation codes and to detect and report any polluter of our nation’s waters.

All Texas BASS Nation Events Postponed Until Further Notice

In compliance with the President and Texas Governor Abbot, that all gatherings which would include more than 10 people should be cancelled, the Texas BASS Nation will postpone all State, Region and Club events until further notice.

This includes Region tournament trail events, Team events, local bass club events, Youth events and college events.

This is an uncertain time for us all and hopefully a non-event for everyone. It will just take time for this to pass. Once moratoriums have been lifted, we will get back on track.

TBTT: Bob Sandlin Team Event Postponed

The Team tournament scheduled for March 28, 2020 on Lake Bob Sandlin has been postponed to comply with the Presidents directive of having no gatherings of more than 10 people.

Ron Jones, the State Tournament Director, will re-schedule this event when possible and we will notify you of the new date.

SE Region: Rayburn Tournament Postponed

As of Wednesday, March 18, 2020 the Corps of Engineers has suspended all tournament activity on Lake Sam Rayburn to comply with the Presidents directive of having no gatherings of more than 10 people.

Ed Dillow, the SE Region Director, will re-schedule the March tournament whenever possible and let us know.

The lake is still open for fishing.
