Overcast all day with windinclreasing in the afternoon. Made it tough for some but as always someone figured them out. That someone was the Grissom team.

Mark Grissom found them on wooded coves in 6-8 ft of water. His five fish stringer weigh in at 20.38 lbs. He also had a 5.82 lb kicker fish. Mark took home a check for $762 for his efforts.

Second place went to the team of Brian Jones and Rodney MlaDenka, also with five fish that weighed 10.98 lbs. Brian had the big bass of the day at 5.89 lbs. It was tough watching Gissom weigh in after Brian and get edged out of first place by 0.4 lbs.

The next Team Division SE Region event will be May 17, 2025 on Lake Conroe out of Scotts Ridge. Get signed up here.

Big Bass Results

Teams were met with a balmy 30 degrees at take-off after a frigid week of temps that reached the lower teens.    Light winds as well as temps rising into the mid 50’s turned into a pleasant day on the pond.

Todd Guernsey and Michael Rice topped the field with a limit of 20.01 pounds that included a 4.96 kicker.  They took home $1820.  Todd and Michael stayed in 20-30 feet of water all day throwing C- Rigs.

Squaw’s warm February water provided a number of productive patterns for the top teams. Justin Hallmark and Joe Sciuto’s 18.11 pound 2nd place limit was put together up shallow on flukes to earn them $1060.

Kazuki Katajima and Kentaro Yamate spent their day flipping trees with Texas rigged Geecrack Bellows Shads.   Not only did their 15.73 sack limit claim 3rd place they also brought in the biggest bass of the day that locked at 5.71 and secured them a $780 total.

Shannon and Cameron Stanley stayed in 10 ft of water with a steady bite on shaky heads to earn them 14.87 pounds, a 4th place finish and a check for $380

Congratulation to the winners!

Our next stop will be Saturday March 29th  on Possum Kingdom going out of Bug Beach for TBOTT members.   Those that are also TBN Club members can double up as the North Central Club division will be hosting their 3rd tournament on P.K.  Sunday March 30th.   We look forward to seeing you!

2025 Team Northwest Region YTD Standings

The 17 boat field was greeted with 32 degrees, a light breeze and overcast skies Saturday morning. We took off just after 7 am among mixed opinions about cathing fish. It turns out it was a tough day for everyone. But someone always finds the active fish in the lake. Two teams did that today.

Hunter Crossland and Blake Hammond brought one of the two limits to the scales. Their five fish weighed 17.50 lbs and included big bas of the event. The big fish went 6.28 lbs. They took home $1670 for their efforts.

Shawn Campbell & Jesus Limon werent far behind, also with a five fish limit that went 14.36 lbs. Their kicker fish went 5.81 lbs. That erned them a check for $750.

Third place went to the team of Robert Brake and Michael Lee with three fish that went 8.60 lbs.

Congratulations to the winners!
